Charnnah Gordon Setters & American Cockers are owned and loved by Karen Gay.  We are a small kennel breeding selectively for the long term health and soundness of these breeds for future generations to come.

I share with my dogs, my husband Alan having passed away December 2014.  We can be found at Allora, a small country town, 2 hours inland from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. 
I have two grown daughters.  The eldest, Charlotte lives in Petrie, Qld with her  partner, dog & cats and is a Chartered Accountant. She now has a little daughter Courtney born in May 2014. The younger Hannah lives in NSW with her husband David and son Jack who was born in December 2007 and daughters Vanessa born in 2010 & Imogen in November 2012.  Hannah is also a Primary School teacher, having majored in Special Education she works at a Special Ed school with disabled children.

I started in Setters in 1981, my first being English Setters, purchasing my first Gordon Setter in 1986.  From there came my love of this majestic, fun loving Setter.  This is when my avid interest in showing & breeding begun in ernest.  I had previously, since a young teenager been involved in obedience.

Along with my Gordons I have owned, shown & titled an English Setter, an Irish Setter, an Irish Water Spaniel (another breed I greatly admire) and several American Cockers - a breed in which I now maintain a more active & serious interest.  These are also a fun breed to spend my time with - and my Gordons love their little friends also.
